Earlier this year we marked our twenty-fifth year as missionaries in Latin America. In the countries where we spent the most time, Guatemala and Brazil, we saw such tremendous growth in the Gospel that now these two nations have the highest percentage of believers in the Latin world. I’d like to think that’s because of our ministry, and of course we did play a small part, but thousands of missionaries and church workers worked in both countries for a hundred years without seeing much fruit before this recent extraordinary explosion.

Las Familias Pobres Reciben Cuidados Médicos

Los necesitados en las montañas del sudeste de Ecuador tienen ahora acceso a cuidados médicos de alta calidad y al mismo tiempo tienen la oportunidad de conocer al Señor que nos sana. John y Marilyn Guido, Misioneros de Verbo en Cuenca y los doctores de la congregación, establecieron la Fundación de Salud Familiar en 1989 para ayudar tanto a los indígenas y a las personas pobres quienes descienden de una mezcla de españoles.

“Nueva Mujer” Llena hogares con Esperanza

Cada semana cerca de 4000 mujeres se reúnen en 350 hogares en Guatemala y en otros países de Latinoamérica para aprender formas prácticas de aplicar la Palabra de Dios a sus vidas, el número de mujeres aumenta constantemente.

Así como una pequeña semilla de mostaza tiene todo el potencial para convertirse en una planta grande que dé abrigo a pájaros, así también El Ministerio de Nueva Mujer comenzó hace 10 años atrás como un pequeño reto de llenar las necesidades espirituales y prácticas de las mujeres en Latinoamérica.
