Helping Hands for Wales!
TEAM #2 - MAY 2 - MAY 20, 2002
The The first Wales work team went to help Alex & Renie Elsaesser with a wonderful project. This is all about reaching out to families that have children with special needs. Their vision is to provide a place for family getaways and loving ministry to all those in need.

This first team aimed at two
or three projects:
1.) Put a new roof one of the outbuildings
that will provide an activity center/pottery studio for guests.

The
old roof has been removed, and masonry done and ready for new one!
2.) Replace a plastic roof on the greenhouse.
3.) Shore up timbers in the barn.
General information:
The six member team traveled to Wales, and four or five others came from England. The first three objectives were largely completed, and the next phase is forthcoming
PLAN--send seed money ahead of time for materials to be bought and ready to go for team use. The team would implement heart and hands principle: heart extended to the Elsaesser family and the hands at work restoring the two main stone out-buildings and converting them for holiday use. All support would be greatly needed and appreciated.
Please let us hear from you even if you are interested in participating in a future team to help this venture, or would like to help financially. In either case please pray for this outreach.
Thanks, and God bless!
